The windward side
Parties outside, with a plan for the rain
On the windward side, the party is usually outdoors. Kailua birthdays happen at the beach park or in the backyard. Kāneʻohe families gather at the district park, at church halls and in carports with a view of the Koʻolau.
That same view brings passing showers. Pick a covered spot for the food table before the day, and tell us where it is when you order. Drop-off food arrives hot and gets set down under cover; with set up and serve we run the line for you.

Bao by the dozen and fries by the pan are easy to eat standing in the sand.

End-of-season dinners for canoe clubs and youth teams. One price per head keeps the fundraiser math honest.

Potluck-sized crowds in a church hall or community center. The $11 menu stretches the budget furthest.
Planning notes
Before you book
Getting over the mountains. Windward events mean a drive over the Pali, the Likelike or the H-3. Give us your serving time and the address, and we plan the trip around it.
Beach and district parks. Large gatherings at City and County parks can need a permit. Sort that out before you book the food.
Cover. A pop-up tent, a lanai or a pavilion for the food table. Rain on the windward side rarely asks permission.

Do you cater in Kailua and Kāneʻohe?
Yes. We cater across Oʻahu, including Kailua, Kāneʻohe and the rest of the windward side, with the same four menus as in town.

What if it rains on the day?
Plan a covered spot for the food, like a garage, a lanai or a pavilion. Tell us where it is in the order notes and we set up there.

Can you cater at Kailua Beach Park?
Pick set up and serve and we set up and serve your guests. Large gatherings at City and County parks can need a permit, so check with the parks department before you lock in the date.

What is the minimum for a windward party?
The same as everywhere: 10 guests, with 3 days notice. Call in advance so we can lock in your date.
